A TOOWOOMBA teacher has been suspended for allegedly sending inappropriate Snapchat messages to a student.
THE 34-year-old Toowoomba State High School teacher has been charged with two counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 after allegedly sending messages to a 15-year-old girl.
The education department confirmed the teacher had been suspended and was being investigated for "potentially serious offences".
The matter will go before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on September 3.
